6. Bottom Camera Position
1. Home The Machine
Home the machine (with Visual Homing enabled).
Manually load the nozzle tip CN040 to the N1 (A-axis) nozzle holder. Gently press or rotate the nozzle tip to ensure proper contact.
2. Update The Z Value
Machine Setup > Cameras > BottomCam > Position
Update the Z coordinate value to the value calculated in the Machine Adjustment step and click Apply:
3. Move The N1 Nozzle
Select Nozzle:N1
in the toolbar :
Machine Setup > Cameras > BottomCam > Position
Click the Position Tool button to move the nozzle tip to the top of the Bottom Camera.
The N1 nozzle will move to the corresponding X Y Z position in Location.
Turn on the BottomCam backlight.
N1 nozzle will show up in the BottomCam camera view.
4. Adjust The Position
Use the mouse wheel to zoom in on the camera view for easy alignment.
Use the Jog tab buttons or drag-drop with the left mouse button to adjust the XY coordinates so that the center of the crosshairs of the BottomCam view is aligned with the center of the nozzle tip.
Click the Capture Tool button to update the X Y Z coordinates of the
Bottom Camera using the position of the current nozzle
tip.
Click Apply to save and enable the settings.
5. Park
Turn off the BottomCam backlight.
Click the P buttons on the Z axis and the XY axis to move the nozzle to the Park Location.
Unload all nozzle tips from all nozzle holders. Always keeps the same nozzle loading status as in the software.
The Bottom Camera Position setting is complete.
The primary camera calibration for top and bottom cameras and nozzle offset settings are now completed, the machine is ready for first job.
