4. Nozzle Offset Settings

In the next step, the nozzle offset will be corrected using the marks left by the nozzle tip on the surface of the sticker.

Put a blank sticker (about 40x30mm) on the surface of the 1st_Calib board. It is recommended to palce it in the position as shown in the picture, so that it will not affect the subsequent steps:

Mount 1st_Calib board on the PCB holder of the machine.

Home the machine.

1. N1 Nozzle Offset Settings

Move the N1 nozzle over the sticker.

Manually load the nozzle tip CN040 to the N1 (A-axis) nozzle holder. Gently press or rotate the nozzle tip to ensure proper contact.

Use a small inkpad (or any coloring tool) to color the nozzle tip so that the nozzle tip can leave a mark.

Select Nozzle:N1 in the toolbar

Adjust the appropriate distance option and gradually lower the height of the N1 nozzle until the nozzle tip just touches the surface of the sticker. Adjust the appropriate distance option and perform some rotation.

In the Offset Wizard tab of N1 settings , click on the Store nozzle mark position button and the nozzle tip position will be updated in the X Y values.

Click the rotating P button and the Z-axis P button on the Jog panel to return the N1 nozzle to its previous state. There will be a mark left by the nozzle on the surface of the sticker.

Use the Jog panel to move the Top Camera to the top of the mark left by the N1 nozzle.

In the TopCam view window, hold down the left mouse button and drag-drop can move the head as well. Finally, adjust precisely by Jog panel so that the center of crosshair in the TopCam view is aligned with the center of the mark point.

In the Offset Wizard tab of N1 settings , click on the Calculate nozzle offset button and the nozzle head offsets will be updated in the X Y values.

Click the Apply button to save and apply the settings.

Offset setting for N1 nozzle is complete.

2. N2 Nozzle Offset Settings

Move the N2 nozzle over the sticker. Keep a certain distance from the mark of N1 nozzle.

Manually unload the nozzle tip CN040 from N1 nozzle and load to the N2 (B-axis) nozzle holder.

Color the nozzle tip lightly so that the nozzle tip can leave a mark.

Select Nozzle:N2 in the toolbar

Adjust the appropriate distance option and gradually lower the height of the N2 nozzle until the nozzle tip just touches the surface of the sticker. Adjust the appropriate distance option and perform some rotation.
